For the two of us, drinking coffee at different times, a one-cup brewer - fresh coffee brewed in 2 minutes is just right. Finding a brewer that delivers small full flavored servings is quite another story; the Keurig mini plus seemed to have been the end of a long search, at last. Great-tasting and consistently flavored coffee with the single serving K-cup cartridge; brew strength adjustable to your liking by varying the amount of water (6, 8 or 10 oz) poured into the reservoir. PERFECT 5-star product, albeit not overly intuitive [ie, read the manual], but worth the few minutes setting it up properly.

Love it! Very happy with this purchase. Love the ease of making one cup at a time - quick and easy.

This Keurig product is very classy looking and works great! I really like the various options for cup size - which is one of the reason that I purchased this product. These cup size options are great not only for hot coffee/tea, but iced coffee and teas.

This machine just about revolutionizes coffee preparation. Yes, plug it in and leave it on, and leave it alone! There are so many K-cups available now just about anywhere you shop so coffee variety is no problem. Amazon also has about a skillion brands so fear not - you will always be able to find coffee. Keurig suggests you leave the machine plugged in (as in "leave it on") because like most electromechanical devices - the electronics are reliable but the switch is essentially a mechanical device which will likely fail sooner or later - rendering the machine useless and destined for a landfill somewhere. Why fiddle with something so remarkably revolutionary, like turning it on and off? This machine is like the Apple products which just came on the market - they are revolutionary, and after using them, you wonder how you got along without them! If you are a true coffee drinker, this is the machine to have. Buy one!

We stopped brewing our own coffee when I became pregnant. Husband would buy it and I was off it completely. After our baby was born I wanted to start drinking decaf (due to nursing) but didn't want to brew a whole pot for myself. In comes the Keurig. Husband was hesitant at first. Thought it was "gimmicky". Well, we have had it about 3 months now and both absolutely love it! There are so many coffee and tea choices! It is fun to try them all (I recommend sampler packs). We use this both morning and night. The iced feature is great too! We love both iced tea and iced coffee in the summer. It is also handy for heating a cup of water quickly for things like instant soups and oatmeal or regular tea bags.
We highly recommend this product!

I purchased this coffee maker to replace one another model of Keurig. I loved my old model, which was a gift from my dauther-in-law so when it quit I wanted another. When I saw this one I thought I would give it a try. I love it. It is so much quieter than the previous model and has an additional size option. I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh coffee, tea or anything that is made with hot water. You can use the K cups or use your own coffee, tea etc.

The unit works just fine, no problems yet. Easy, convenient, and no wasting pots of coffee. The garden can only drink so much coffee...
We drink a medium amount of coffee, but these units have opened up a whole new world of taste and flavor. The My K-Cup came with this unit, so this would be a worthwhile extra purchase. It also works just fine.

    I'm the only hot-beverage drinker in this house, aside from the kids occasional cup of hot chocolate in the winter. I was so tired of either dumping coffee down the drain or hurrying to drink it before it went over the edge, leaving my cup of tea in the microwave for hours after forgetting it. I had a really good coffee maker, but it couldn't make good coffee if you were just trying to make a little, it was always too weak or too strong. I got this Keurig as an anniversary gift a couple weeks ago. I'd been oogling at the older models for months, almost bought a B60 on several occasions, and then have been price-shopping this one online since it came out. I LOVE THIS COFFEE MAKER. It makes a GREAT cup of coffee and tea (haven't tried the hot chocolate yet). I've had a blast shopping the internet for K-cups, which come in so many varieties. Had house guests last weekend and they thought it was the coolest. It was nice that after I showed them how to use it, they could pick out and make their own coffee, without the old "is there any more coffee?" and that phrase "don't make a pot just for me..."

    I  normally don't write reviews but I have to tell ya.. This is one fabulous machine! I received mine yesterday and it's the freshest cup of coffee ever! First of all, the machine is beautiful to look it. It has these really cool blue lights. You can choose which size cup of coffee you want.. It also came with an assortment of coffees/teas to try and so far they are all good. I also bought a couple of boxes of green mountain coffee - blueberry & rainforest nut and it comes out amazing. Do not hesitate to make this purchase! You won't be disappointed.

    Excellent coffee machine that needs minimal cleaning with a perfect cup of Joe every time. The only time I will need to pull out the traditional machine is if I'm hosting and one or two cups just won't due. No filters/mess ever. Within minutes brewed cup perfect everytime. No need to go any further- just buy it.

  • As a former coffee house Assistant Manager and an avid fan of "gourmet" coffee, I highly recommend this coffee machine. Probably the best $100 I have spent in at least five years. One of my biggest concerns was that the beans had NO TIME to brew properly in such a short amount of time. But I was completely wrong. This machine brews a nice, bold, rich cup of coffee. Slightly less bold and rich if you brew the regular pods on the larger cup setting; but still very drinkable. I was also concerned that the pods would leak after removing them from the machine, but they are almost dry. I haven't had a single one drip on the way to the trash can, and I remove them seconds after brewing. I'm extremely pleased with the ease and cleanliness of using this machine. No filters to deal with, no messy coffee grounds, no dirty coffee pots to wash (and filter baskets). The convenience of the machine alone is well worth the minor noise and vibration.
  • I have been using the Keurig B-40 for over 7 months now and have been very impressed with it. It heats up very quickly, and the auto shut-off feature allows you to have your machine shut down after 2 hours of inactivity. You can use the B-40 for brewing tea by buying tea in K-cups, but I simply and frugally put my tea (either loose in strainer or in a bag) in a cup and run the Keurig without a K-cup in the holder. I use the Keurig in a similar manner to add hot water to cups of soup.
  • The Keurig B-40 makes excellent, well flavored coffee... in a snap! It tastes just as good as a brewed cup with a traditional coffee maker, it does NOT taste like it came from a vending machine.
    The only con is minor: the 7.25 ounce serving size. This is perfect for a coffee cup, but a large coffee mug will require you to brew 2 k-cups. But brewing is so quick, that you can brew both K-cups within 30 seconds.

    While not as heavy as, say, a Kitchen Aid mixer, it is quite well constructed. It doesn't have the metal trim of the B60, but chrome finished plastic for the handle on the head, and the grate for the overflow plate. The machine opens and closes with sturdy hinges, so it seems durable for the future. The size is great and the little beauty sits right on my desk with plenty of room for my computer monitor!

    It makes coffee just as well as my full-sized machine. I plan to use it regularly with a "My K-Cup" that I purchased. I think the design is nice and sleek overall.

    There are two ways to turn on the machine. One is to simply push the power button. The other is to simply open up the slot to put the K-Cup pod in, and the machine will automatically turn on when you close it. Once you close it, the cap for the water resevoir opens for you to fill. Once you fill and close, THEN you place your cup. When it senses your cup, you push the brew button, and it silently heats up the water and dispenses in about 2 minutes. Once you take your cup, the machine will automatically shut off. Nice. However, not so nice if for a family - repeating is too time consuming for more than 2 people.

    It is ADORABLE! Would I have it as my main coffeemaker at home? Maybe...if I drank only a cup or two a day, or had limited space but liked to offer guests a range of brews. At work, it is THE gift of the year. It is quiet, and has lots of great technology to satisfy a coffee geek. It will never mess up your desk, it senses a cup under the spout before it will brew. It turns itself off when the cup is removed. But forget all the many things that make it brew a great cup for one....the machine is good looking, has a small footprint, and looks and feels more expensive than it is. I've tried all of the Keurigs, and this was added to a currently used B70 and a B60 that is soon on it's way to a friend's home. This is the type of machine that simply will make you smile.
